Thank you for your interest in the American Society of Women Accountants Scholarship program. Our scholarships are awarded on a national and a local level. Locally, we award several scholarships each Fall. (Application deadline June 30th) As our organization grows, so does our ability to offer financial assistance to outstanding women accounting students. This coming school year we will be offering over $7,000, in scholarships to women accounting students in Colorado.

To be eligible for the local award, the applicant must:

have a GPA of at least 3.0 excluding remedial classes,
have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting I,
completed 60 semester or 90 quarter hours with a declared major in Accounting,
and demonstrate financial need.

In addition, to be considered for the scholarship, the following documents must be included:

Official transcripts from each post-secondary school attended,
Letters of recommendation from three different references,
Any additional information regarding your financial need for this scholarship.

We strongly urge you to attach a letter introducing yourself, explaining your career goals and objectives, and detailing how this scholarship will help you to reach those goals.

Students are always welcome at our monthly meetings. The Denver Chapter currently meets the third Tuesday of the month at the Denver Downtown Denver Athletic Club, 1325 Glenarm Street, in downtown Denver.
